The Jewish cemetery in Szczekociny was established in the 19th century. It was destroyed by the Germans during World War II. Complementing the blurring of the traces of the necropolis was the post-war decision of the city authorities to build a car base with a square in this place. So, today the relics of the cemetery are covered with a layer of concrete and asphalt.
